| Thank you for your service to our country. Your honorable service in defense of the nation, may qualify you for membership in the Largest Combat Veterans Organization, the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The VFW is much more than a place where people sit around and tell war stories. We are deeply involved in Veterans issues, in our community, and in our youth.
Members of our Post serve on the Town Council, the School Board, are EMTs, Fire Fighters and Police Officers. We are faces you see in Church, at the voting booths, in the stores and on TV.
Just this year the VFW has secured a better GI Bill for the Troops, increases in the number of Veterans who can receive Health Care from the VA, more funding for the Veterans Cemetery and other issues. Members of our Post will be in Washington DC in March, "Storming the Hill" to meet with the Congressmen and Senators to keep the pressure on.
Our Post conducts scholarship programs for students in the local schools. This year our High School winner also won the County level.
On the social side, we have a canteen available 7 days a week for you enjoyment; we hold a breakfast on the last Sunday of the month, various picnics, and cookouts every Friday during the summer, St Pat's and New Years Eve parties. AND SO MUCH MORE.
We would like you to join us. If you served in a Combat Zone you are eligible, and your Spouse is eligible to join our Ladies Auxiliary. Please Call our Post at 732-269-2265 or our Commander - Tom McCormick at 732-269-2758, or stop by the Post Home for more information. If your Spouse is interested in the Auxiliary, please call the President Kathy Marshall at 732-244-3550.
